At 40W below the GTX 1070 and Radeon 480X the GTX 1060 is certainly as frugal as its purchase point. The cooler manages to disperse the heat well, hitting only 70°C at stock. Even with our beefy overclock in place it only topped 75°C, despite the English summer in full effect. No we don’t mean it’s raining.
