Destroy All Human PC Performance Review and Optimisation Guide
1080p Performance – Benchmark Results
Destroy All Humans has its framerate capped at 120FPS on PC, and the reasoning behind this is simple. Beyond 120FPS, the game’s performance can vary wildly, mostly thinks to CPU-based bottlenecks. Framerates of 120Hz are relatively easy to achieve on the CPU-side, making this a suitable framerate cap.
With our RTX 2080 Ti and RX 5700 XT, framerates only dip below 120Hz momentarily when assets are being loaded. For the most part, the game will run at a locked 120Hz on these high-end graphics cards.
On the lower end of the spectrum, even GPUs like the RX 580 and GTX 1060 can easily achieve average framerates of over 60FPS, though the RX 580 needs lower settings to achieve a constant 60 FPS framerate in demanding scenes.
Older AMD graphics cards offer lower performance levels than their Geforce counterparts, though these issues appear to disappear with AMD’s RDNA architecture.
