4K Performance – Benchmark Results

At 4K, Gears 5 places even the mighty RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition under 60FPS regularly, so much so that the game benchmarked with a 58.2FPS average framerate. Some lowered settings are required to bump the game to a steady 60 FPS framerate, though this could be fixed with late development game performance optimisations and game-specific driver releases. 

Most of our GPU testing lineup was unable to achieve an average framerate of over 30 FPS at 4K, though 30 FPS should be possible with lower in-game graphical settings.
