At 1440p Ultra settings, none of the GPUs that we tested maintained 60+ FPS framerates at all times. To achieve that, we need stronger GPUs, lower graphical settings, or the help of an upscaler. STALKER 2 is a demanding game, but a combination of optimised settings and upscaling can deliver solid 60+ FPS performance levels for most of the GPUs below.
Again, upscaling makes STALKER 2 a lot easier to run on PC. While the performance gains aren’t as large as what we see at 4K, any boost is welcome for a hard-to-run game like this. Even the RTX 3070 Ti averages above 60 FPS in this test. However, as an 8GB GPU, users will need lower texture settings to prevent stutters and other issues during real gaming sessions.
