Cyberpower MSI Infinity Pro Review

Conclusion

How you feel about the Cyberpower MSI Infinity Pro will depend largely upon your desires.

If you are one of those people who care not a jot for a system that sounds like a 747 taking off. Those who don’t want any lighting. People who care about FPS above all other considerations and don’t mind a hodgepodge of brands. If you’re in that group then this build might not be for you. After all, the tiny price difference between a RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti has been spent on looks.

On the other hand you might be like us. Yes performance is glorious. You don’t want to buy a rig that is wheezy within a month of purchase after all. However, you also want a rig that makes you proud to own it. To show it off. To photograph it. Maybe setup some cool lighting patterns. Most importantly, do all that within a single application because your hardware comes from a single manufacturer.

Clearly if you fall into that category the Cyberpower MSI Infinity Pro is a superstar. It’s still crazy affordable for what you get – well over 60 FPS @ 1080P in anything and over 60 FPS in 1440P in everything but a ray-traced Night City. The Core i5-14400 is the perfect blend of core count, speed and efficiency. As you saw on the previous page the amount of ARGB fans work well in conjunction with the excellent 240mm MSI AIO. Temperatures are low no matter how much we thrashed it. Low temps = low noise because of low fan speed. Additionally as was shown on page three, and has been at the top of every page, the lighting is spectacular. The Cyberpower Ark case is perfect at showing this off thanks to the huge windows.

Unquestionably this is as good as a system is going to look at this price point. The use of nearly all MSI products gives a gorgeous harmony to proceedings, whilst also bringing great performance. The Cyberpower MSI Infinity Pro is cool, quiet and performs very well, but the looks steal the show and it wins our OC3D Aesthetics Award.
