At GDC 2017 Square Enix has showcased Final Fantasy XV running on Nvidia’s GTX 1080Ti, confirming that a PC version of the game is being worked on.

While Square Enix has not officially announced a PC version of the game, it is clear that the development of a PC version is taking place behind closed doors, with this demo for GDC being a collaboration between Square Enix and the Nvidia GameWorks team to showcase procedural AI and destruction.

Let’s be clear, this is just a tech demo, but a demo that showcases Final Fantasy XV running on PC, which is something that PC gamers have demanded for some time. Given the popularity of Final Fantasy’s recent re-releases on PC Square Enix would be stupid not to create a PC version, as there is obvious demand for the title on the platform.
