After conducting their own internal testing, AMD has confirmed that Windows 10 does not have a thread scheduling bug when used with their new Ryzen CPU architecture.
 
This means that AMD fans should not expect an update to Windows 10 that will offer dramatic gains in Ryzen CPU performance, though the company remains optimistic that there can be some beneficial optimisations for both current and future applications.  
 
 
 
 We have investigated reports alleging incorrect thread scheduling on the AMD Ryzen processor.
 
Based on our findings, AMD believes that the Windows 10 thread scheduler is operating properly for “Zen,” and we do not presently believe there is an issue with the scheduler adversely utilizing the logical and physical configurations of the architecture.

AMD has also stated that Ryzen users should use Windows 10 in High-Performance mode, which will prevent Core Parking and enable faster frequency changes. By mid-April AMD plans on releasing an update which will enable better Ryzen performance in Balanced power mode, though for now, performance mode offers the best user experience.
