Intel announces three new Kaby Lake i3 processors

Intel has revealed the existence of four new Kaby Lake i3 processors, coming with their new S-0 stepping. These new processors introduce new 35W i3 CPUs to their lineup as well as higher clocked variants for their 73xx and 71xx lines.

All of these i3 CPUs will continue to feature two cores and four threads, though unlike i5 and i7 series CPUs all of these new models lack boost/turbo clock speeds. We can also see that Intel’s i3 71xx series CPUs will also have less L3 Cache than their 73xx counterparts.

At this time, Intel has not announced official pricing for these new SKUs, though they are expected to be available within the next few weeks.
