Nvidia releases their first Creator Ready Graphics Driver
With this evolving landscape, the term “Creator” has become something that defines a wide range of people, and as a company Nvidia wants these people to get the most out of their hardware. Nvidia knows that as creative apps become more prevalent, they will need to ensure that even their consumer-level hardware needs to be capable of some killer creative performance.
Introducing Nvidia’s first ever “Creator Ready” driver, which ships with optimisations for Blender, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe Premiere Pro CC and CINEMA 4D, This driver offers performance uplifts of between 8% and 13% on an RTX 2080 graphics card, which over time will result in notable productivity gains for end users.
Nvidia’s Creator Ready drivers undergo an exhaustive multi-application testing suite, ensuring that creative users will achieve the best performance over a wide range of applications. When compared to Geforce Gaming drivers, Nvidia’s Creator drivers will undergo more stability testing and be launched in conjunction with major updates for the likes of Unreal Engine, Adobe Creative Cloud and more.
Both Nvidia’s Creator Ready and Game Ready drivers will offer the same optimisations, but Nvidia’s Creator drivers will undergo more testing and provide optimal levels of stability. If you are focusing on rendering stability over the best performance in new games, then Nvidia’s new Creator drivers are for you.
Nvidia’s Creator Drivers will be restricted to Pascal or newer graphics hardware, with Nvidia offering no support for their Maxwell or older graphics products.
