Netflix released it’s first The Witcher Teaser
Season 1 of Netflix’s The Witcher series will soon be upon us, promising to deliver watchers a “very adult” experience, at least according to showrunner Lauren Hissrich.
Netflix has now released its first teaser trailer for the series, showcasing Henry Cavil’s depiction of Geralt of Rivia as well as some of the story threads which the series will follow. The teaser gives an almost Game of Thrones vibe, exploring the shades of grey within The Witcher universe.
The full series is set to release in Q4 2019, coming exclusively on Netflix, just in case the term “Netflix Original” wasn’t enough of an indication. The TV adaptation of the series is expected to be based more closely on the franchise’s original books than the, arguably more famous, video game series.
