Radeon RX 5950 XT and RX 5800 XT appear on the EEC database

New Radeon GPU SKUs have been revealed on an EEC listing from AFOX, unveiling SKUs such as the Radeon RX 5950 XT, the Radeon RX 5900 and the Radeon RX 5800 XT.

If taken at face value, these listing confirm that AMD has plans to release high-end Navi graphics cards, which are due to compete with Nvidia’s high-end RTX series GPUs. That said, these listings do not confirm when these graphics cards will release.

Regardless, this EEC listing, which was first uncovered by Komachi, should not be seen as a guarantee that any of these graphics card SKUs exist. AFOX doesn’t have any Radeon RX 5000 series graphics cards listed on its website, and their EEC listing suggests that they will soon have a top-to-bottom Radeon RX 5000 series lineup available in the future.

Another thing that’s worth considering is that the RX 5950 XT is a placeholder name for a future high-end Radeon graphics card. AMD’s high-end Navi graphics card may release as the Radeon RX 6000 series or under a completely new brand name. As it stands, this leak gives us no real information, just names for AMD’s upcoming high-end Navi graphics cards.

AMD’s CEO, Lisa Su, has confirmed that PC gamers should expect to see Radeon graphics cards with hardware-accelerated raytracing this year. Furthermore, Lisa Su has also confirmed that “a high-end Navi” graphics card is in the works. The question now is this, this AMD’s high-end Raytracing Navi card the Radeon RX 5950 XT?
