PUBG is available to play for free this weekend on Steam

This weekend, PUBG is available to play for free on Steam, allowing PC gamers to experience that game that popularised the Battle Royale genre. This free event will be taking place until June 8th at 5 PM UTC, which translates to 6 PM BST.

During this time, PC gamers will be able to purchase PUBG at a discounted price of £13.49, which is 50% off the standard pricing of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

This free weekend comes one month after PUBG received a major overhaul of its Vikendi map, which includes ridable trains and other add-ons. This makes now a great time to start playing, especially now that the game includes an all-new ranked mode.
