Computex 2021 will be a physical event – Opens doors on June 1st

TAITRA, the organisers of Computex, has confirmed that Computex 2021 will be taking place next year as a physical exhibition. The event will be hosted between June 1st and June 4th, with Taiwan believing that the world will be over the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic by that time.

Unlike other nations, Taiwan has been able to effectively manage the spread of COVID-19, having fewer than 800 confirmed cases and only seven deaths despite being a nation of over 23.7 million people. Taiwan believes that it will be safe to host Computex 2021 in June,

Computex 2021 will focus on the themes of 5G, AI & IoT, Edge Computing, High-Performance Computing (HPC), Cyber Security, Gaming, and Innovations & Startups. Computex 2021 will be hosted at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center and the Taipei International Convention Center. At this time, it is unknown what restrictions will be placed on foreign exhibitors or attendees at the event, as Taiwan will undoubtedly be planning to prevent a potential outbreak of COVID-19 within their nation.
