AMD teases Mid-Range RDNA 2 mobile and desktop GPUs – Launching in H1 2021

AMD has confirmed that they plan to release multiple desktop-grade RDNA 2 graphics cards and their mobile counterparts in the first half of 2021, delivering mid-range and entry-level Radeon products based on AMD’s latest graphics architecture.

In the image above, we can see a dual-fan Radeon RDNA 2 graphics card that’s likely to be AMD’s reference RX 6700 series design, with the smaller single-fan model being what could be an entry-level Radeon RX 6500 series products. Recent rumours have suggested that AMD’s Radeon RX 6700 series will launch in March 2021, with its mobile counterpart arriving later in H1 2021.

Sadly, AMD did not reveal any detailed specifications for their future RDNA 2 products, though we can expect to hear more from AMD at future events.
