Introduction

When looking at a new series of products it is very easy to get caught up in the swarm of flagship models from each and every brand. We all know that these flagship products will be too expensive for most general consumers, leaving most of us to go for more mid-range motherboard offerings.

Today we will be looking at the Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Ultra Gaming, which is set to retail for £189.99 here in the UK and offer an excellent bridge between their mid-range and high-end Z370 motherboard offerings.

The Z370 is designed to offer everything that a Z370 user should expect and more, coming in the industry standard ATX form factor with an attractive feature set.

Technical Specifications

When comparing the Z370 Aorus Ultra Gaming to the company’s other Z370 motherboards it is clear that the Ultra Gaming sits in the mid-high end of the company’s Z370 lineup, offering specifications that are similar to their higher-end Gaming 5 and Gaming 7 offerings in many categories.

Storage wise the Ultra Gaming features two 32Gbps M.2 slots and six SATA 3.0 connections, offering support for more storage than most modern gamers require. Do you know many people that have more than six storage drives and two M.2 SSDs in one system?
