The high-end air cooler market does not offer a wide variety of options to choose from, with AIO liquid coolers becoming more common, especially within the ultra-high-end market.

At OC3D we think there is a space in the market for high-end air cooling, not just due to their aesthetical charm but because the market deserves great cooling solutions that are not subject to potential pump failure while still offering enough cooling capacity to maintain a decent overclock.

Cooler Master is world famous for their Hyper 212 cooler, so much so that the heatsink has been around for around a decade with several different iterations with several small refinements over time. Now Cooler Master is taking this design and applying it to the high-end air-cooling market, offering a twin-tower design with a bold aesthetic and custom RGB illumination.

This new model will ship under the MA620P and MA621P names, offering support for every modern CPU socket across the two models, including new sockets like AM4, TR4 and LGA 2066

Using this wired controller owners of this cooler can adjust the colour, brightness and effects that the cooler can showcase, which is great news for users of older motherboards.

Cooler Master new twin-tower cooler design will come with six heatpipes with what Cooler Master calls Continuous Direct Contact Technology 2.0 (CDC 2.0), which offers a 45% increase in contact area between the coolers heatpipes and the users CPU, making heat transfer more efficient, improving the cooler capabilities.

The MA620P and MA621P have both been designed with silence in mind, utilising an “exclusive noise reduction design” and quiet fans that spin between 600 and 1800 RPM.
