Top-tier AMD DRAM – G.Skill launches Trident Z5 Royal Neo DDR5-8000 EXPO memory
G.Skill is ready to push the boundaries of overclocking with Trident Z5 Royal Neo DDR5-8000 AMD EXPO memory
With the release of AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series of CPUs, G.Skill is getting ready to push the limits of AMD overclocking with the release of new Trident Z5 Royal Neo DDR5 memory modules. These memory modules are AMD EXPO compatible, enabling easy memory overclocking via your motherboard’s BIOS.
These new Trident Z5 Royal series DDR5 modules offers users extreme overclock memory speeds of up to DDR5-8000 through the 1:2 clock divider mode in the BIOS of AM5 motherboards. These modules will be available in DDR5-8000 CL38-48-48-127 speeds and 32GB (2x16GB) and 48GB (2x24GB) kits.
Like other Trident Z5 Royal series memory kits, these new modules feature CNC-cut aluminium heatspreaders. These heatspreaders come with a mirrored-finish with gold or silver colours. These kits feature crystalline light bar with RGB lighting capabilities. These RGB LEDs can be controlled using G.Skill’s Trident Z Lighting Control software, or third party motherboard lighting software solutions.
G.Skill expects these new high-speed DDR5 memory kits to become available in August 2024. This is shortly after the launch of AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series CPUs.
