Noctua launches their new NF-A14x25 G2 140mm fans in square and rounded forms
Noctua has officially launched its new NF-A14x25 G2 fans as standalone products. Previously, these fans were exclusive to Noctua’s new NH-D15 G2 CPU cooler, the company’s best-performing CPU cooler to date. Now, Noctua’s flagship 140mm fans are available to everyone.
Noctua’s A14x25 lineup ships in various forms. For starters, there is the standard square G2 PWM version, its square low-speed LS-PWM version (800 RPM max), and its rounded variant (for heatsinks). These fans are available in single-fan packs and two-fan Sx2-PP packs. Noctua’s Sx2-PP set contains two fans offset in speed by +/- 25rpm. This speed offset minimises unwanted acoustic interactions and periodic humming noises. Yes, having your fans run at the same speeds can result in more noticeable noise.

These new fans from Noctua are ideal for PC cases and 280mm/420mm liquid cooling radiators. All models of these new 140mm G2 fans come with a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty. The square versions of these fans also come with an optional anti-vibration gasket, which can give these fans a tighter seal on liquid cooling solutions to deliver enhanced performance levels. Furthermore, an “intake spacer” is available as an optional accessory that can enhance fan performance and lower airflow noise when this fan is used as a case intake.
