Raspberry Pi lowers its Compute Module 4 prices

Raspberry Pi lowers the pricing of its 4GB and 8GB Compute Module 4 boards

In a time when price rises are commonplace, it’s refreshing to see a company deliver increased value with lower prices. Today, Raspberry Pi has lowered the prices of their 4GB and 8GB Compute Module 4, giving buyers $5 and $10 price reductions, respectively.

The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) is a popular product. It has found a home inside medical equipment, energy infrastructure, monitoring tools and even retro gaming devices. While there is a new Compute Module 5 product, not all applications require its increased computational performance. As such, the CM4 remains popular amongst users, and in high demand.

The CM4 features a quad-core ARM Cortex-A72 processor and extensive I/O capabilities. Its compact design allows it to be used in a variety of systems, allowing it to be used widely in other products.

A cost aspect of the Raspberry Pi brand is its competitive pricing, which remains true today. When other brands are increasing their prices, Raspberry Pi are lowering theirs. Users can get the hardware they need without huge premiums.
