Nvidia’s RTX 5090 drop below MSRP at Overclockers UK

Nvidia’s RTX 5090 is now available below its official MSRP in the UK

Overclockers UK has dropped the Palit GeForce RTX 5090 GameRock graphics card price below Nvidia’s official RTX 5090 MSRP/RRP, a first for the UK. The GPU is now available for £1879.99, a sign that Nvidia’s RTX 5090 shortage is finally over.

At launch, Nvidia’s RTX 5090 graphics card sold out quickly. With demand outstripping supply, GPU prices rose. Until now, getting an Nvidia RTX 5090 graphics card at its RRP price has been a challenge. Now, Nvidia’s flagship GPU is available at less than its MSRP.

When Nvidia launched its RTX 5090, its MSRP was £1939. In March, Nvidia lowered this MSRP to £1889, due to changing USD to GBP exchange rates.

Having RTX 5090 GPUs available at lower prices is a great thing for PC gamers. For starters, gamers no longer need to pay hugely inflated prices for an RTX 5090 graphics card. Furthermore, it’s a sign that GPU supply is improving across Nvidia’s product stack. Now, GPU manufacturers need to compete with each other for customers. GPU manufacturers don’t need to compete with each other to sell their products during shortages.
