Merging Google’s two OS’ will enable a better cross-device experience for users. Application cross-compatibility will also be a valuable feature for both users and developers. Google has not unveiled its plans for Android and ChromeOS, or when both OS’ will merge. Over time, I expect to see ChromeOS become a lot more like Android, and eventually be absorbed by it.
