The Ultimate Raspberry Pi – Meet the Raspberry Pi 500+

Raspberry Pi goes premium with its Raspberry Pi 500+ mini PC

Raspberry Pi have launched a new all-in-one PC called the 500+, delivering users a premium computing experience with SSD storage, a mechanical keyboard, and RGB lighting.

This new mini PC is based on the Raspberry Pi 5 platform, featuring a 2.4 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A76 CPU, 16GB of LPDDR4X memory, dual-band WIFI, and Gigabit Ethernet. With its mechanical keyboard with Gateron KS-33 Blue low-profile switches, users have a premium typing experience and the option to replace their keycaps with something custom.

The asking price for this mini PC is $200. For UK buyers, the system is £172.80. For $220, users also get the Raspberry Pi mouse, a 27W Raspberry Pi charger, and a 2m micro HDMI cable. It also comes with a copy of the Raspberry Pi Beginners’ Guide (5th Edition). That’s a solid package for that pricing. This system features a 256GB SSD, supporting M.2 2280 SSDs for those who want more storage.

This PC is a love letter to the micro PCs of the 1980s. This is a successor to the legacy of these machines, giving users a platform where they can code, tinker, and create.

If you wanted a higher-end version of the Raspberry Pi 500, this is it. The system is available now from certified retailers.
