Kingmakers has been delayed indefinitely by Redemption Road Games
Kingmakers is no longer launching on October 8th
Redemption Road Games has officially delayed Kingmakers, the time-travelling action-strategy game that brings players with modern tech into the Medieval era. The game will no longer launch on October 8th, the game’s planned early access release date.
The reason for this delay is simple: Redemption Road Games doesn’t want to release its game in a sub-par state. The studio is taking time to polish its game and deliver all the features it wants to have at launch. They want gamers to feel that their money was well spent. They also want to ensure that their game runs well on “mid-range” PCs.
Kingmaker’s developers want their game to run at a “true 60 FPS” on mid-range PCs. No fake frames or other tricks. When many new PC games require heavy use of upscaling on high-end PCs, it is refreshing to see that Kingmaker’s developers are taking optimisation seriously.
Sadly, Redemption Road Games has not revealed a new release date for Kingmakers.
