GTA 6 demo footage leaks through ex-Rockstar animator

Ex-Rockstar dev accidentally shares GTA VI footage online

Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) is one of the world’s most highly anticipated games, even though Rockstar has only released two trailers for the game. No raw game footage for GTA VI is publicly available. This has created a market for fake game clips that generate views solely on the game’s hype. Now, GTA 6 leaks are coming from ex-Rockstar developers.

A former Rockstar Animator has released a video online that showcases some of their work on Grand Theft Auto VI. It includes two clips showcasing the game’s animations. While this isn’t gameplay footage, it does give gamers a glimpse of the upcoming game. While the uploader quickly removed their video, copies have been made elsewhere online.

The first chip shows a character dismounting a “Lom Bikes” bicycle. This footage implies the existence of a public bike-sharing system in Vice City. The second clip shows a female character, who looks like the game’s female protagonist, Lucia, jumping out of a truck.

GTA 6 leaks are not common. Rockstar Games maintains tight control over how its games are showcased. It’s clear that gamers want to see more. Regardless, Rockstar has no plans to showcase their next game until it is ready. Expect all of GTA 6’s marketing materials to have an incredible level of polish.
