Corsair upgrades its FRAME 4000D and 5000D with 14.5-inch LCD screens
Corsair gives its FRAME series PC cases an upgrade with new LCD mounting kits
Corsair has just released new upgrades for its FRAME 4000D (review here) and FRAME 5000D (review here) PC cases, allowing users to attach Corsair’s large XENEON EDGE 14.5-inch screen to the side of these enclosures. Additionally new version of the FRAME 4000D, the FRAME 4000D LCD RS ARGB has also been launched. This case comes with this upgrade pre-installed.
With this upgrade, PC builders can add Corsair’s 720×2560 touch screen to their PC cases, adding an extra layer of customisability. It can be used as an extra monitor. It can display system information. Alternatively, users can turn it into a custom widget matrix.
To install this screen on existing FRAME 4000D and 5000D PC cases, users will need to buy their case’s LCD mounting kit upgrade. This replaces their case’s side panels with new versions. These upgrades cost £43.31 and £54.14 respectively on Corsair’s website. Note that these prices do not include the cost of Corsair’s Xeneon Edge 14.5-inch touchscreen.
