Nvidia GeForce Now gains a 90 FPS VR mode and several new games

Nvidia has upgraded GeForce Now with a 90 FPS VR mode and has added support for several new games

Nvidia has upgraded its GeForce Now service for Ultimate Members, adding a new 90 FPS gameplay mode for users of VR headsets. This includes Apple’s Vision Pro, Meta Quest devices, and Pico devices. Users can create a large virtual screen for playing PC games, with 90 FPS support giving gamers smooth gameplay.

With GeForce Now, Nvidia’s gaming servers do the heavy lifting, making local hardware performance a non-issue for compatible systems. Gamer will also have the option to enable DLSS and ray tracing in compatible PC games. Note that GeForce Now does not support VR-only games. Nvidia only supports playing games on VR headsets using a large virtual screen.

This week, Nvidia has also added Crimson Desert to their compatible games list as a day-1 title. It is available now with Nvidia’s RTX 5080-powered servers, enabling the highest levels of cloud gaming performance.

Nvidia has added four games to GeForce Now this week. This includes Fallout 3 (on Steam), Everwind (on Steam), Retro Rewind – Video Store Simulator, and Crimson Desert.
