Big improvements are coming to Halo: Campaign Evolved

Halo: Campaign Evolved is getting a new game update next week

Next week, Halo: Campaign Evolved will receive a new update next week, adding fixes, improvements, and several fan-requested features. This includes toggles for Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain, which we requested in our PC performance review for the game. This was an incredibly common request among gamers, as both effects have a huge impact on Halo: Campaign Evolved’s visuals, and many people don’t like their impact.

Other improvements include changes to how Jackals stagger, and how certain things work when specific skulls are activated. Halo Studios also says that new stability improvements have been made to the game. Full patch notes will be made available next week when the update is released.

Sadly, Halo’s next update will reportedly invalidate mid-mission save progress when downloaded. This means that players may lose some of their progress when the update is installed. That means that Campaign Evolved players should finish their current mission before the new update arrives, or be prepared to replay some part of their current mission.
