G.Skill showcases DDR5-10000 speeds with Intel Core Ultra 270K PLUS CPU

G.Skill pushes its memory speeds past 10K with Intel’s latest CPUs

G.Skill has confirmed that its DDR5 memory kits are ready for Intel’s new Core Ultra 200S PLUS CPUs (see our review here). This includes support for G.Skill’s standard DDR5 (DIMM) modules and their CU-DIMM XMP 3 memory kits.

G.Skill has noted that many of its memory kits feature Intel’s Core Ultra 200S Boost badge, indicating support for XMP 3.0 overclocking profiles up to DDR5-8000. This enables easy memory overclocking for compatible motherboards and CPUs with a simple BIOS tweak.

G.Skill have also demonstrated the overclocking potential of Intel’s newest CPUs by validating DDR5-10000 memory speeds. This was achieved using an ASUS ROG Maximus Z890 APEX motherboard and an Intel Core Ultra 270K PLUS CPUs. This highlights the memory overclocking strengths of Intel’s current CPU platform.

Out of the box, Intel officially supports DDR5-6400 speeds with its core Ultra 200S PLUS CPUs. This is extended to DDR5-8000 through Intel’s “Core Ultra 200S Boost” feature. Users can achieve even higher speeds through overclocking.

Intel has shown great momentum with its Core Ultra 200S PLUS launch. If Intel can continue this progress with its next-gen GPUs, it should be an incredible product. However, it is unknown how Intel’s Nova Lake CPUs will perform. Furthermore, we are yet to see what AMD’s Zen 6 CPUs will look like.
