Noctua x Asetek confirm flagship AIO Liquid Cooler launch window

Noctua’s upcoming CPU liquid cooler has passed its Production Validation Test and is ready for its Q2 launch

Noctua and Asetek have confirmed that their upcoming all-in-one (AIO) CPU liquid cooler is ready for its Q2 2026 launch. The CPU cooler has passed Product Validation Testing, meeting the cooling requirements of both companies, and is now entering production.

This new CPU cooling solution uses a customised Asetek G8 V2 pump. Noctua has worked with Asetek to improve several key aspects of this pump. For starters, triple-layer noise dampening reduces both airborne noise and pump vibrations. Additionally, Noctua has added three pump speed profiles that fine-tune the cooler’s performance-to-noise characteristics.

Noctua’s new liquid coolers are optimised for the company’s NF-A12x25 G2 and NF-A14x25 G2 fans, using Asetek’s “Emma” G8 V2 radiators with “non-louvered” fins.

Since the announcement of their collaboration at Computex 2025, Noctua, a leading quiet PC cooling brand, and Asetek, a pioneer in all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooling, have continued to advance their flagship AIO liquid coolers. The products have now successfully completed the Production Validation Test (PVT) phase, confirming performance and manufacturing readiness ahead of the planned Q2 2026 launch.

Engineering and Performance Highlights

The Asetek Emma (G8) V2 pump operates at a nominal speed of approximately 3,600 RPM (±300 RPM). Through collaboration with Noctua, several key performance aspects have been enhanced. Firstly, a triple-layer noise-reduction pump cover reduces both air-borne noise and structure-borne vibrations. Secondly, a dedicated mode switch allows users to choose between three different pump speed profiles to fine-tune performance-to-noise characteristics.

Thirdly, the cooling system has been optimized through the pairing of Noctua’s award-winning NF-A12x25 G2 and NF-A14x25 G2 fans with Asetek’s Emma (G8) V2 radiators featuring a non-louvered fin design. This combination enables smooth airflow with low resistance, allowing the system to deliver strong thermal performance while meeting low-noise operation requirements, even at reduced fan speeds. The non-louvered design also helps minimize dust accumulation, supporting consistent long-term cooling efficiency.

This isn’t just an Asetek cooler with Noctua fans

Noctua hasn’t just slapped its fans on an Asetek cooler and called it a day. Noctua has worked with Asetek to create the best liquid cooler they can. Additionally, Noctua is using its own SecuFirm2+ mounting system, with custom offset options for AMD and Intel CPUs for optimal cooling.

The radiator for this cooling solution also uses a non-louvered fin design, which enables smoother airflow and stronger performance during low-noise operation. This cooler is designed to run well at low fan speeds, delivering stronger low-noise performance.

Noctu has also customised Asetek’s analog PWM controller to deliver increased stability and durability compared with standard control solutions. Noctua wants its liquid cooling solutions to be a strong long-term investment, making improved component longevity a must.

Integration with Noctua Ecosystem

Featuring Noctua’s SecuFirm2+ mounting system, the cooler is fully compatible with existing Noctua parts. Offset mounting options align with heat concentration zones on both Intel and AMD CPUs, delivering optimised thermal performance confirmed through benchmark testing.

Durability and Reliability

With a strong focus on long-term reliability and consistent performance, the design incorporates multiple engineering choices aimed at product longevity and quality. One example is the use of an Asetek-customized analog PWM controller tuned specifically for Noctua, offering greater stability and durability compared to typical software-based control solutions. In addition, extensive performance validation and reliability testing have been conducted to ensure consistent operation across use cases.

The latest milestone of successful PVT completion reflects the collaborative engineering effort and production progress between the two companies, confirming both the technical and operational excellence behind these upcoming flagship AIO liquid coolers.
