Acer unveils its Intel ARC G3 Elite powered Predator Atlas 8 PC gaming handheld

Acer’s ready to showcase its next-generation Atlas 8 PC gaming handheld at Computex 2026

Acer has confirmed that it will showcase its next-generation PC gaming handheld, the Predator Atlas 8, at Computex 2026. This new handheld will be powered by Intel’s ARC G3 Extreme SoC. The device will feature up to 24GB of LPDDR5X-7467 memory and up to 12 Xe GPU cores.

With its Intel ARC GPU, this handheld supports XeSS 3 Upscaling and Multi Frame Generation. It also features an 8-inch 1920×1200 screen that supports 120Hz refresh rates, VRR, and delivers a peak brightness of 500 nits. The device uses a 10-point multi-touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass with DXC, which cuts down reflected light to make the screen more visible in bright environments.

With predatorSense, users of the Atlas 8 will have support for live battery and FPS monitoring, performance controls, RGB lighting control, and VGA customisation settings. The device also features two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB 5.4, UHS-II MicroSD support, and WIFI 7. The device also features an up to 80 Whr battery, with some models having a smaller 60 Whr battery.

Acer plans to reveal more information about this handheld at Computex 2026, which takes place next week.
