Modern Warfare 4’s beta will include more content than ever
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is coming to PC and consoles on October 23rd. This month, gamers on all platforms can access the game’s beta, which will include single-player campaign content for the first time.
The mission in question is called “Entrenched”, and Asha Sharma, the CEO of Xbox, confirmed that the beta would also include a suite of multiplayer modes. This includes a new Zodiac Warzone Insurgence Map and more traditional multiplayer content.
Given how poorly received Black Ops 7 was, with the game’s co-op campaign receiving much of the game’s criticisms, Microsoft clearly knows that it needs to prove itself again in the single-player arena. Perhaps this is why single-player content is included with the game’s beta. Microsoft needs to prove that it isn’t making the same mistakes twice.

Modern Warfare 4’s early access beta will run from August 21st to 25th. This first beta weekend will be for gamers who pre-order the game. The next beta weekend will be available to everyone. The second beta weekend will run from August 28th to September 1st. Both beta weekends will include different multiplayer maps.

If you want to access Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4’s first beta weekend, you will need to pre-order the game on your platform of choice. Supported platforms include Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Steam, Xbox on PC, and Battle.net. Note that no Switch 2 beta will be available.
