be quiet! launches their white Dark Base Pro 901 and Dark Base 701 cases

be quiet’s white Dark Base Pro 901 and Dark Base 701 will be available next month

Back at CES 2024 we saw be quiet’s Dark Base Pro 901 White and 701 White PC cases. Today, we can confirm that both cases will be available next month on March 5th. These two cases will give fans of inverted PC cases two new white case options.

We reviewed be quiet’s original Dark Base Pro 901 Black and Dark Base 701 cases last year. Both are solid offerings, featuring a huge number of removable parts, and builder-friendly features. As mentioned before, a key feature of these two cases are its support for inverted case layouts. Be Quiet are one of the only case manufacturers to support inverted PC layouts, making their cases highly desirable for anyone who wants their PC to sit on their left.

Based on our in-person experience with these cases at CES, both the white Pro 901 and white 701 are just as capable and well built as their existing black counterparts. Honestly, we are surprised that be quiet did not launch these cases with all-white counterparts. While these new white models may be late, they are very welcome additions to the company’s case lineup. White PC hardware is becoming increasingly popular. Last week, XFX’s white RX 7800 Speedster Qick 319 was revealed, and earlier this month we saw the white RX 7900 XT Hellhound from PowerColor. Back at CES 2024, Gigabyte also revealed a range of new white products.

Both the be quiet Dark Base Pro 901 White and 701 White are compatible with the company’s tool-free, decoupled HDD Cage 2 for added HDD and SSD support. These cages are currently available in black, but will also be available in white from April 2nd.

be quiet’s Dark Base Pro 901 White and 701 White will be available from March 5th. The 901 White will be available with recommended retail pricing of $299.90, €319.90 Euro, or £319.99. The 701 White will be available for $239.90, 239.90 Euro, or £239.99.
