DeepCool reveals their new Assassin 4S CPU cooler at CES

DeepCool’s flagship CPU cooler now has a slimmer, single-fan, model

DeepCool’s Assassin IV is one of best CPU coolers on the market (see our review here). If you are looking for a high-end air-based CPU cooler, it is one of our go-to options, and at CES 2024 DeepCool has revealed a new version of this cooler that we find very interesting. Meet the DeepCool Assassin 4S.

No, DeepCool do not want you to call this the “DeepCool Assassin 4 Slim”. Yes, it is slimmer than the standard Assassin IV, but this is still a meaty heatsink. In fact, this is still a twin-tower heatsink! What differentiates this cooler from the standard Assassin IV is its fan count. Instead of using two fans, the 4S uses one. This is a 140mm fan that sits in the middle of this heatsink, giving the unit an exceptionally clean aesthetic.

This new CPU cooler features seven heatpipes, two fin stacks and a single fan. The cooler will be available in both black and white, and the heatsink will have a performance/quiet toggle to allow users to quickly set the cooler’s performance mode.

Sadly, DeepCool has not revealed the release date or pricing of this new CPU cooler. We expect to hear more about the DeepCool Assassin 4S very soon.
