AMD decreases the price of Raven Ridge R3 2200G and R5 2400G CPUs
AMD decreases the price of Raven Ridge R3 2200G and R5 2400G CPUs
Since launch, it seems like AMD has decreased the retail price of both of these APUs, with the Ryzen 3 2200G selling at between £79.99 and £84.98 while the Ryzen 5 2400G sells for around £128.99 today. This pricing change makes the Ryzen 3 2200G £5-10 cheaper than it was at launch, with the Ryzen 5 2400G seeing a steeper price decrease of around £21. These two CPUs were priced at £89.99 and £149.99 respectively upon release.Â
We have checked several major UK components retailers, all of which use these reduced prices for Raven Ridge, providing a lot more value for money for consumers. Â

It is encouraging to see AMD lower the price of their Raven Ridge series APUs so quickly, providing PC gamers with another low-cost avenue into the market. While the Vega integrated graphics are nowhere near as powerful as today’s dedicated offerings, they offer a great starting point into PC gaming, especially if you are willing to overclock your system a little.Â
We have plans to release more Raven Ridge content in the near future, including a look at modern gaming titles and how far we can push this unit in some of today’s most demanding releases.
