AMD reveals Ryzen Threadripper’s pricing and specifications

 
The pricing and specification of AMD’s Threadripper 1950X and 1920X have been revealed, delivering 16 cores and 12 cores respectively with boost clock speeds of up to 4GHz. Both of these products are set to release in August. 
 
These two CPUs will release in August as part of AMD’s Threadripper family, both of which boasts a full 64 lanes of PCIe connectivity and performance that AMD has shown to exceed Skylake-X in benchmarks like Cinebench. 
 
Threadripper will be part of AMD’s X399 Socket TR4 platform and offer the highest levels of CPU performance present in AMD’s Ryzen lineup, as well as competitive pricing with Intel offerings.

Threadripper will release with a variety of motherboards in early August. At this time it is unknown whether or not AMD plans on releasing 10-core and 14-core Threadripper CPU models.
