AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX appears on Newegg – Pricing Revealed
How much does AMD’s 32-core Threadripping monster cost? Well, if you believe Newegg the part will cost $1,799.99, a price tag that is similar to Intel’s 18-core i9-7980XE, giving AMD an insane core/thread count advantage.Â
Strangely, Newegg’s listed specifications do not match previous leaks, listing a boost clock speed of 3.4GHz instead of a boost clock speed of 4.2GHz. At this time it is unknown which boost clock specification is accurate.Â
