AMD will host one of CES 2021’s premier keynotes

AMD has announced that their CEO, Lisa Su, will host a keynote during CES 2021, highlighting the company’s “vision for the future of research, education, work, entertainment and gaming”.

During this event, AMD will present a “portfolio of high-performance computing and graphics solutions”, and deliver this message across the world as part of CES’ first “all-digital” experiences.

By the time CES 2021 takes place, AMD will have revealed Zen 3, launched RDNA 2 products and be ready to deliver a year of strong competition to their main rivals. If the launches of Navi and Zen 2 acted as a turning point for AMD, RDNA 2 and Zen 3 could be seen as the time where AMD aimed for the top sections of both the CPU and GPU markets. Only time will tell whether or not AMD has been successful in delivering top-level performance to both markets.

At this time, it is unknown what AMD plans to discuss at Computex 2021. What we do know is that AMD will use this stage to highlight the strengths of their brand, and the continued innovation seen in their products.

AMD plans to reveal their Zen 3 and RDNA 2 architectures next month as separate events.

Below is a comment by AMD’s Lisa Su.

AMD technology is at the heart of some of today’s most popular consumer products and services. As we push the envelope on performance, we expand what is possible in personal computing, gaming and online services and experiences,

I look forward to sharing exciting new technology developments at CES 2021, and what it will mean to the way we live, work, learn and play.
