AMD’s Ryzen 9 3800XT appears on the Ashes of the Singularity Database
Rumour has it that AMD has Ryzen 3000XT processors in the works, with plans to reveal these new SKUs in mid-June to deliver higher-speed Zen 2 processors to the masses.
Now, AMD’s rumoured Ryzen 7 3800XT has been spotted on the Ashes of the Singularity benchmarking database, with results uncovered by @_rogame on Twitter. This processors reportedly features maximum boost clock speeds of 4.7GHz and higher all-core boost performance than normal Ryzen 3800 series processors.
Sadly, the Ashes of the Singularity benchmarking database isn’t that reliable, as the performance numbers listed could be using an overclocked CPU, and underclocked CPU or a stock CPU. We have no way of knowing the clock speeds used by this processor, making comparisons between the 3800XT and 3800X useless.Â
AMD’s Ryzen 7 3800XT is said to feature a 300MHz boost to the base clock speeds over a standard Ryzen 7 3800X and a 200MHz boost in maximum clock speeds. This could give AMD’s latest processors a notable boost in performance in both single-threaded and multi-threaded applications, which is great news for AMD.Â
Rumour has it that AMD plans to release its Ryzen 3000XT series processors within the next two weeks, accompanying the company’s new B550 series of motherboards to deliver AMD fans more performance and more value for money than before with the Ryzen 3000XT series and B550 respectively.Â
