AMD’s Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 5 3600XT has been listed at retail
AMD’s rumoured Ryzen 3000XT series processors are higher-speed versions of AMD’s existing Ryzen 3000 series processors, which promise to deliver users higher single-threaded and multi-threaded clock speeds and boosted performance levels over their existing 3000X series counterparts. This factor will give AMD an extra bump on performance compared to Intel’s recently releases Comet Lake Core-10 series processors, a series which AMD’s existing Ryzen 3000 series was already competitive.Â
Right now, three Ryzen 3000XT series processors are rumoured to exist, a 12-core Ryzen 9 3900XT, an 8-core Ryzen 7 3800XT and a 6-core Ryzen 5 3600XT. All of these processors are said to feature higher base/boost clock speeds than AMD’s standard Ryzen 3000 series processors. These clock speeds bumps will be useful in gaming and workstation applications alike.Â
Videocardz has stated that Materiel’s pricing is higher than most other European retailers, which means that the pricing listed in the image below should be taken with a grain of salt. Some sources have also stated that AMD plans to decrease the pricing of its existing Ryzen 3000 series models to create a place for these new SKUs. This will also make AMD’s existing offering more compelling when compared to Intel’s latest processors. Videocardz has also reported that AMD’s Ryzen 5 3600XT will cost $28 more than AMD’s Ryzen 5 3600X.Â
Combine this with the release of AMD’s mainstream B550 chipset, and this could add even more value to the mainstream CPU market, a factor which will only serve to increase AMD’s sales further within the mainstream market.Â
