ASRock to reveal “Game-Changing” BMD (Back-Connect) motherboards at CES 2025
ASRock plans to reveal its first Back-Connect motherboards at CES 2025
ASRock has confirmed that it plans to reveal its first “BMD” motherboards at CES 2025. What’s BMD? BMD stands for “Back Mount Design.” This is ASRock’s brand name for back-connect motherboard designs. These motherboards have power and IO connectors facing backwards, allowing for cleaner-looking systems when paired with compatible cases. These motherboards hide the cables that are connected to motherboards, removing the need for tidy cable management.
ASRock was not the first manufacturer to create “Back-Connect” motherboards. ASUS has their BTF series motherboards, and MSI has Project Zero. Now, ASRock is preparing to enter the arena with new BMD series designs. We expect to see BMD motherboards with AMD’s socket AM5 and Intel’s LGA1851 series chipsets.
ASRock’s New BMD Motherboards Are Game Changers for Empowering Your Next-Gen PCs
ASRock will showcase the new motherboards for the mainstream and budget segment that are based on the upcoming Intel & AMD chipset. The new motherboards include the Phantom Gaming series, the ever popular Steel Legend that comes in a white PCB design and the feature filled but budget friendly Pro RS and Pro-A series. ASRock will also be debuting its first BMD (back mount design) motherboard during CES 2025.
