EK releases a monoblock for MSI’s X470 Gaming M7

EK Water Blocks has officially revealed their first X470 monoblock for MSI’s X470 Gaming M7 platform, delivering motherboard specific water cooling support to both the X470 Gaming M7’s VRMs and the user’s Ryzen/AM4 CPU socket, shipping with an MSI Mystic Light compatible RGB LED strip to support a highly customised lighting experience.
This monoblock will cool both the user’s CPU and the motherboard’s power circuitry, keeping both heat sources cool to ensure minimal system noise when combined with a well thought out water cooling loop. On the CPU-side, EK uses a specialised version of their Supremacy EVO water block, which is designed to make better mechanical contact to the surface the IHS on AMD’s Ryzen processors than standard, CPU agnostic block designs.

Like all of EK’s other AM4 monoblock designs, the EK-FB MSI X470 M7 RGB Monoblock is made using nickel-plated copper with a Supremacy EVO heat plate for CPU cooling. The block also directly cools the motherboard’s MOSFETs, circulating liquid to all vital areas. The top of the block is made using an acrylic glass material, making it extremely suitable for RGB illumination.

EK plans to release this monoblock on their web store for €119.95 on their EU web store, with a release date of July 10th. This monoblock is specific to MSI’s X470 Gaming M7 motherboard, lacking support for the company’s other X470 board designs on the M7’s last-generation X370-based counterpart.
