EK releases monoblock for Gigabyte’s X470 AORUS Gaming 5 motherboards
This monoblock will cool both the user’s CPU and the motherboard’s power circuitry, keeping both heat sources cool to ensure minimal system noise when combined with a well thought out water cooling loop. On the CPU-side, EK uses a specialised version of their Supremacy EVO water block, which is designed to make better mechanical contact to the surface the IHS on AMD’s Ryzen processors.
Like all of EK’s other AM4 monoblock designs, the EK-FB GA X470 Gaming 5 RGB Monoblock is made using nickel-plated copper with a Supremacy EVO heat plate for CPU cooling. The block also directly cools the motherboard’s MOSFETs, circulating liquid to all vital areas. The top of the block is made using an acrylic glass material, making it extremely suitable for RGB illumination.
