When Intel launched their 8th generation core CPUs and their Z370 motherboard platform the company promised to deliver a broader range of products in 2018, releasing more CPUs and a variety of new 300-series motherboards/chipsets.

Right now, it is clear that Intel’s complete 300-series motherboard lineup is ready to launch, though the company has so far kept these products off store shelves in the west, forcing PC builders to purchase their expensive Z370 series motherboards, even with processors which lack support for overclocking.

Expreview has confirmed that both H310 and H370 motherboards are currently available for purchase in Thailand, with Tech Yes City confirming that B360 motherboards are also available in the region in large quantities. At this time Intel has not confirmed when these motherboards/chipsets will be available to purchase in the UK, EU or US.

Alongside these new motherboard chipsets, Intel is also expected to release new CPU models which range from Celerons and Pentiums to new i3 and i5 class models. Today, it is clear that Intel is ready for this launch on a hardware level, leaving many to wonder if Spectre and Meltdown mitigations are to blame for this delayed launch.
