Intel’s 10th Generation KF and F desktop processor lineup leaks – 5+GHz clock speeds!
Intel’s KF and F series processors are designed to do one thing, increase product yields. With these processors, Intel can release processors with inactive graphics components, allowing them to sell silicon which could otherwise go to waste. This increases Intel’s manufacturing efficiency and boosts their profitability, especially given their current shortage of 14nm silicon. Â
The image below further confirms that Comet Lake will utilise Intel’s rumoured LGA 1200 socket, which means that Comet Lake will require new motherboards to function.Â
We have charted the specifications of Intel’s planned Comet Lake series processors below, combining Informatica Cero’s latest leaks with previously leaked Comet Lake specifications. Â
Note that Intel’s KF and F series processors offer the same baseline specifications as their non-F series processors, making the F-series’ only differentiating factor their lack of Integrated graphics.Â
