It looks like AMD’s next “Meet the Experts” Webinar will focus on Threadripper

This November, AMD plans to unleash a new range of high-end desktop processors, delivering their Ryzen 9 3950X onto AM4 while also unleashing their higher-end Ryzen Threadripper 3rd Generation CPUs.

On November 6th, AMD plans to host a webinar titled “AMD and the Future of the High-End Desktop”, where AMD is likely to take about their Threadripper plans in-depth. AMD’s Ryzen 3rd Generation Threadripper processors are due to release with models which start at 24 cores, delivering more cores than what’s possible on Intel’s X299 HEDT platform.

Last week, AMD revealed its work with Blur Studio, the company behind some of the visual effects seen in Terminator: Dark Fate, Love, Death Robots, League of Legends’ animated shorts and more. With Blur Studios, AMD has “battle-tested” their 3rd Generation Threadripper processors, placing their processors under what’s likely to be some of the most challenging workloads that the HEDT market has to throw at them.

While AMD’s latest teaser video, which is embedded below, doesn’t reveal any new information about their upcoming 3rd Generation Threadripper processors, we do know that HEDT users should expect a substantial generational leap in CPU performance. For starters, there’s AMD’s Zen 2 cores and 7nm manufacturing. However, the big change will come in the form of AMD’s new multi-die CPU architecture, which addresses many of the quirks of its Ryzen 1st and 2nd Generation Threadripper processors.

Below is AMD’s summary of their next Meet the Experts webinar.

Content creators are some of your most demanding users. Requiring the ultimate desktop platform to render, design, and edit using the most taxing programs, their needs demand the highest performance products available. PCs are no longer used for just one type of program or for one task at a time; creators need a powerhouse PC that will allow them to play while streaming and create while their project renders.

Join AMD expert, Erin Maiorino, as she discusses the future of computing for high-end desktop processors, and how AMD is paving the way for creators, gamers, and workstation users to power through their day with ease.

What we’ll cover:

– AMD plans for high-end desktop systems
– The AMD technology built to tackle the most challenging user workloads
– The future of the high-end desktop market
