MSI teases X570 Ace series motherboard reveal at Computex

The numbers Mason, what do they mean? MSI has started to tease some of their Computex 2019 product reveals, presenting their fanbase with some cryptic motherboard-related riddles.

First off, we have the numbers 567 and hidden within MSI’s message is the number 3000, suggesting that their obscured ACE series motherboard is ready for AMD’s Ryzen 3rd Generation (3000 series) processors, which are rumoured to ship with AMD’s X570 series chipset.

That the numbers 5, 7 and 3000 taken care of, but what about 6? The hint here is the WiFi symbol that emanates from that number, suggesting that MSI’s X570 Ace motherboard will support the new WiFi 6 standard, making it one of the first consumer motherboards to do so.

It is probable that AMD’s X570 series motherboards will also see other changes when it comes to interconnectivity, as 10Gb Ethernet or intermediate standards like 2.5GB Ethernet are also expected to become more common on high-end motherboards.

Computex starts on May 28th, where MSI and other motherboard manufacturers plan to showcase next-generation motherboards alongside other upcoming products.
