Ryzen 3’s release date and specifications have been announced

AMD has officially revealed their new Ryzen 3 lineup of CPUs, which are designed to enter more value-oriented segments of the PC market and compete with Intel’s i3 series CPUs.

Unlike Intel’s i3 lineup of CPUs, all AMD Ryzen 3 CPUs are overclockable and offer a total of four CPU cores. In contrast, only Intel’s most expensive i3 CPU can overclock and offer only two CPU threads, though both CPUs offer four total threads.

Below is the all known specification for AMD’s Ryzen 3 lineup of CPUs, with the 1300X offering base/boost clocks of 3.5/3.7GHz and 1200 that offers base/boost clock speeds of 3.1/3.4GHz. At this time the pricing of AMD’s Ryzen 3 CPUs is unknown.
