Sapphire’s high-end PURE X870A White motherboard leaks

Sapphire’s ready to take its AM5 motherboards to the next level

Images of Sapphire’s upcoming PURE X870A WIFI 7 motherboard have leaked, confirming that the company has higher-end AM5 motherboards ready to launch.

Earlier this year, we reviewed Sapphire’s B850A Nitro+, which sported a Black, Silver, and Grey colour scheme. With this new “PURE” model, Sapphire has made their motherboard white with grey and black accents. The PURE X870A also upgrades to AMD’s X870 motherboard chipset.

This new motherboard features a PCIe 5.0 X16 slot, a single PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, and two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots. It also features WIFI 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB4 (40 Gbps) support. With four DIMM slots, this motherboard can support up to 256GB of DDR5 memory.

The pricing of this new X870 motherboard is currently unknown, though it is expected to cost under £300. It is presently unknown if Sapphire has plans for more white PC hardware, such as white B850 motherboards and white RX 9000 series graphics cards.
