Watch AMD’s Live Computex 2021 Keynote Here
Lisa Su’s keynote address will take place on June 1st at 10 AM Taipei Time, which translates to 3 AM BST. AMD’s keynote will focus on several areas of the PC market, from high-performance computing to gaming, and AMD’s work with OEMs to create “a leadership product portfolio”. Â
At this time, it is unknown what AMD will announce at Computex 2021, though it is likely that it will include new product announcements from the computing giant. A Ryzen 3rd Generation Threadripper announcement is possible, as is an official reveal for new Radeon-powered gaming notebooks. Other product reveals are also possible, though we are unlikely to hear about any of AMD’s post-Zen 3 plans, aside from some roadmap updates.
With AMD’s RDNA 2 and Zen 3 products being highly competitive, AMD is unlikely to spend a lot of their time hyping up their RDNA 3 and Zen 4 architectures. AMD will likely give keynote watchers vague statements regarding continued performance improvements and their roadmap being on schedule, but no raw performance data.Â
Regarding Ryzen, AMD will likely announce Cezanne-based Ryzen 5000 series CPUs for the DIY market and potentially reveal multiple new Zen 3 CPU SKUs. We will have to wait and see what AMD has in store for us. Â
