3DMARK performance leaks for Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti
Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti is 20% faster than its predecessor in 3DMARK – Leak reveals
Rumour has it that Nvidia will unveil and launch its GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU next week, which means that reviewers should be benchmarking this new graphics card as we speak. Today, Videocardz has leaked the 3DMARK benchmark performance of Nvidia’s new RTX 5060 Ti, revealing how fast Nvidia’s newest mid-range graphics card is.
Based on these results, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti is, on average, around 20% faster. However, some tests show smaller gains, like the lower-resolution 3DMARK Time Spy Test.
Videocardz has claimed that Nvidia has instructed its partners not to supply 8GB RTX 5060 Ti models to reviewers. This likely means that early reviews will focus on Nvidia’s more expensive 16GB model, which will be free of VRAM capacity-related performance issues. By doing this, Nvidia will avoid a lot of negative review coverage. Simply put, 8GB isn’t enough VRAM for many modern AAA games. Simply put, users of 8GB GPUs need to mess with a lot of texture-related settings in games to avoid issues.
If recent rumours are to be believed, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti will launch next week. The MSRP pricing of these GPUs is reportedly $379 and $429 for the GPU’s 8GB and 16GB models, respectively. Note that this is much higher than AMD’s recently leaked RX 9060 XT series prices.
